Ran the less technical downhills - trying to keep my HR ~140 when I'm out this week.

Orienteering 1:13:00 [3] 4.2 km (17:23 / km) +220m 13:46 / km

British Middles on Summer House Knot.
Was quite anxious driving up, knowing I'm overweight, unfit and out of practice. No issues with 1 & 2, started off well to 3 but lost concentration and spent 15 minutes using my catching feature as my attack point and giving a lot of extra climb every time I went back to it. 4 & 5 were fine, but 6, 7 & 8 just looked like a slog and I was knackered, so decided to walk up the hill and pick the course up again from 10 when the terrain became more forgiving.
Beautiful forest, good to be at an event, good to have a map in my hand (when it was going well), time to get fitter.
