Gym (legs) 40:00 [2]

Trying to get some sore muscles. ;) 2x20 repetitions. I could nearly see my muscles get bigger and stronger! ;D

Cycling warm up/down (Indoors/gym) 20:00 [1]

15 min warm up + 5 min warm down.

I went to Malmi straight from the gym to watch Tiina's basketball game. "Naminamika" crushed the other team. I again realized that basketball is a too physical and violent game for me.

I had to warm up before floorball because I was so stiff. My upper body still hurts in weird places after wednesday's gym training and my right calf was very sore (not sure if it's because of yesterday's circuit training or the special therapeutic exercises I do every day). Got my weekly routine done.

3x10 min floorball and 15 min basketball. There were only 4 people so we were playing 2 against 2. Tiina was my team mate and she wasn't able to run much so I got my fair share of running after the ball.

A wonderful and masochistic club circuit training by Tipi. Every other exercise was jumping etc.. My heart rate was well above 180 and my muscles were on fire during those exercises. An exellent training! I have to change my training plan for the rest of the week a bit (I won't go to the gym to do legs tomorrow) but I think it was worth it. I haven't done that much jumping for a while!

My right SI joint/butt got slightly irritated while doing all that jumping today. I stretched in the evening while watching House. Last time (in the summer) I had to get a massage. I'm such a tightass! ;D

I wasn't able to fall asleep last night so I spent the morning sleeping instead of going to uni. I went to the gym before work. This time it was only upper body. 2x20 repetitions. Warm up 10 min rowing, warm down 5 min rowing. Getting ready for the skiing season... ;) I do think it's important also for a runner to train the upper body sometimes. You don't run with your arms but it's good to have some balance in your body. The lower body shouldn't be too dominant. Besides an orienteer has to be able to climb up cliffs sometimes. ;)

Oops! I recalculated my last seasons training and it was only 395h. So The 400-hour-limit is still mine to break!

Got up early and went to uni. Had lunch. Then went to the gym. Tired. Yawning.
Warm up 10 min cycling + 10 min rowing. 3x15 repetitions, slightly heavier weights. Warm down 10 min rowing.
This time bus 79 was on time, even early. Work went fast because I was talking almost all the time, nearly 4 hours.
