Running 27:00 [2]

Ran from the bus stop to Tiina's place to get a sprint map of Kumpula, then continued to my parents' place and dropped off a backpack full of laundry. Also a few minutes of running after nordic walking.

Orienteering race (25manna) 28:19 [4] *** 4.13 km (6:51 / km)

3rd leg with Anu, Minna and Annika. Running felt good and the beginning went well but then I lost some time at controls 6, 7, 8 and 9. It wasn't catastrophic but I lost nearly 3 minutes altogether. At #6 I just ran a little too far when I didn't believe that the control was there were some people were coming from... Lost <30s. I should have just followed Annika to #7 but I thought that she was going a bit too much to the left and I went a bit too much to the right to a wrong forking and climbed a few extra meters. Lost ~30s. To #8 I lost my grip and got very confused with the little hills, paths and swamps. I stopped a couple of times and I had no idea where I was. But I didn't panic (although it was very close), kept going straight and finally located myself again. I was surprised that according to the splits I lost "only" 80s to the fastes time. It felt at least like 2 minutes. To #9 I got a bit confused again, nearly took a wrong path but stopped again and made the right choise in the end. Lost 15s or so. Then I got my grip back and the last 2 controls went well again. My finishing sprint was impressive (based on some comments) and I did put a lot of anger into it because of the mistakes I made.

Running intervals (fartlek) 22:00 [3]
ahr:163 max:185

It was dark and a bit rainy but I felt awesome! :) I've finally got my legs back!!! I was cruising in a comfort zone, relaxed and not pushing too hard. Was planning to do 10x1'/1' but f*ucked up a bit and decided to change it then. It wasn't necessary to count in the last recovery.

Running hills (3x2'50/4'25) 22:00 [5]
ahr:161 max:195

I wanted to test the hill that I spotted last week. It turned out to be a good hill. There are some steep parts, some not so steep parts and even a bit of downhill. I basically ran full throttle up and jogged down. A dog scared me once and I got the typical answer "it doesn't do anything". I'm pretty sure that had it not been on a leash it would have attacked my ankle. There was also one dog that wasn't on a leash but after I told the owner that I'd soon run fast past them she put it on a leash. Thank you very much!
Times and average heart rates up/down:
2'52 A167 / 4'23 A151
2'53 A175 / 4'23 A156
2'50 A175 / 4'33 A155

Running warm up/down 35:00 [2]

20'+15'.

Note

I've been following my log hits. I mean the number of attackpointers that read my log. I'm surprised how fast the number changes after I've logged something. That must mean that people have put my log in their favourites. That's interesting. But it's also true that anyone can read this, although I don't really think about it most of the time when I write whatever I happen to feel like writing that day. BUT NOW I'D LIKE TO CHALLENCE ALL THE ATTACKPOINTERS WHO READ THIS TO REVEAL THEMSELVES! You don't have to write anything. Simply enter somekind of a comment. There will be benefits to my dear readers later.
