Orienteering warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Orienteering race 58:00 [5] 5.82 km (9:58 / km) +155m 8:48 / km

Ran very clean Green course At A meet at Hawn. Caught Orlyn at 6 and ran 6-10 with him. Got 20 seconds ahead twice but not enough speed to get away. Lost time only on 5 (hit thick green veg entering from north) and 10 (redline was better than left of line to stream). Adapted well to thicker than expected veg. Walked most uphills, but steady pace otherwise. 2nd best time on Green to Jim Eagleton (of course, Magnus 37:54 on Green 'does not count')

Orienteering race 22:46 [4] 2.6 km (8:45 / km) +75m 7:39 / km

First 'campus' sprint course - enjoyed it more than expected. I was impressed by the number of decisions to be made. Bobbles on 2 (near side of Gren) and 9 (checked identical 'niche' on first building). Chose 2nd best route choice 2-3 times when I let momentum keep me goihg in same direction after control. Often did plan ahead one control. Slow pace, walked most uphills - little running this spring
