Fun times riding up the Avon Valley railway road. Handy for me as some work I'm doing relates to this. Good to actually see what it is that I am dealing with!

Tried Liz's sweet new ride, a carbon framed Ibis with so much suspension travel, it looked like a capable all mtn bike, or even free ride. But still sooo light!!!

Also very well balanced for wheelies. I managed my longest wheelie ever, on my second attempt. Weird rear brake though... it almost caught me out when it took a fraction of second longer to engage and I almost went off the rear. Then, it did catch me out when the delay left me high and dry.

Knowing it was a new steed, I held her bars tight ensuring that my arse took the brunt of the fall with only the rear wheel of the bike touched the ground. How's that? A crash when the bike doesn't!

Trail run with the Ranga's. Tough pace for me. First half was hard but manageable but 2nd half has too hard as my bike ride fatigue appeared. Happy though that I made it, even a short distance still feeling ok.
