Orienteering 2:30:00 [3]

Went to Loch Vaa for the ROMP with Dad and Roz. We did a loop north of the railway first which had clusters of controls separated by longer legs. I just took it fairly slowly and tried to stay in touch and know what was coming up ahead. Went quite well although a couple of controls in the vaguer area I expected a wee bit early. Then we did a loop south of the railway which I tried to do a bit faster and went pretty cleanly. Then ran about 3km back through heather and on tracks to the car.

Swimming 1:50:00 [3]

Swimming club
The first 30mins I just mainly did front, back and breaststroke quite slowly, then did 3 sets of 16 lengths one length fast/one slow, followed by 4x100m IM and then some slower stuff again. I think I might try to do the one length fast/one length slow thing more often so long as the tanks not too busy as its more interesting than just swimming constantly at the same pace.

Running 40:00 [4]

At Inverness Harriers
We did 16 x 200m with 45s standing rest between each. Good pace.
Was going ok till about the 8th but by the 11th/12th I definitely wasn't fully recovered from the last 200m by the time we started the next one.
Found it pretty tough but it was good training.

Running 20:00 [1]

After that we did lots of stretching, some press-ups and plank, and then some 100m strides.
