Orienteering (SWEDEN) 1:35:00 [4] 11.2 km (8:29 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw

Did training planned by Tierry G!
The course was broken up into lots of different sections to focus on different techniques: simplification, contour only, compass control, control pick, farrtleck x 2 then a sprint map section.
Awesome course, ran really well but nackered by the end!

Orienteering (SWEDEN) 1:30:00 [4] 9.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw

Travelled an hour north of Stockholme to an area called Landistans Sondag which was apparently similar to an area used for the Swedish champs.
Did really well speacially across the compass bearing legs where there was no map to follow. Just made one mistake where I wondered off my bearing and had to relocate.

Orienteering (SWEDEN) 40:00 [3] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw

Control pick shadowed by Iain Embrey. Was clean for all the control apart from one which was unfortunately being filmed by Graham!

Then a mass start race which was pitch black three quarters of the way through and found myself on my own running through the forest!

Orienteering (SWEDEN) 2:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (15:00 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw

Long warm up with the fast guys from the hut to the start.
Followed by 4 exercises: 1.6km, 2.1km, 3.2km and a line.
Took a while to get back into orienteering in Swedish terrain, made some stupid mistakes but by the line course everything was smooth.

Orienteering (SWEDEN) 40:00 [4] 6.0 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw

Ran from the hut into the housing estate to do some sprint training. Started with a line course and then lots of mass start races from different starts across the map.
I was fine on the line and the first race with a good route choice on the long leg. Felt tired going up the hill and running back to the hut.
