QOC , Gt Falls , next to the Potomac.
Loved this - like Pillar Woods but with some interest. 28 Degrees F though so kept well wrapped up. One early blunder then smartened up after that. Quite tricky to hold a line through saplings and rotten trunks. Could get much faster in this terrain with a couple more events and more confidence to run hard into the circle. Still can't get my head around kites tied to trees, but they do a god job with keeping kites above ground on pit/depression features. Met some QOC folks - will join.
PRF: fig rolls. Three water stations on the course in below freezing!
