VWMR Leg 100 Braes of Balquhidder to Loch Katrine via 7 Munros - Stob Binnein, Ben More, Cruach Ardrain, Beinn Tulaichean, Beinn a'Chroin, An Caisteal & Beinn Chabhair. With Lynn S. Another epic! Wasn’t sure I was going to be mentally up for it but once we got onto the first ridge it felt good. Physically holding together surprisingly well too once I got warmed up. Some interesting lines to connect these 7 hills and needed to be careful with the nav in the mist, dark & wet especially. Good company from L on the hill.

Mountain biking 50:00 [3] 12.0 km (4:10 / km) +60m 4:04 / km

Back down Glen Tilt on a too small bike- knees not too impressed, but fortunately not too much pedalling required. Glen seemed twice as long as it actually was. #peathagged
Couple of recovery days v much needed and now planned.

VWMR Leg 80 from LoD over to Glen Tilt via An Sgarsoch, Carn Ealer, Beinn Dearg & Carn a Chlamain with LP. Agreed to this leg purely because there was nobody else available. Feeling pretty weary from yesterday and knew it was going to be a largely trackless slog, but good mental practice for getting head down and on with stuff even when you’re feeling rubbish. And it was all of that. Line off CE wasn’t too bad, but the stream in the valley bottom was winding everywhere, so ended up splashing across from side to side to find the best running, Once we left the stream to climb towards BD the peathags began and then continued relentlessly. Descent off BD was mildly sketchy on big blocks of rock, not least because my sense of balance had evaporated at the 2am death hour! Happy with route execution though and soon enough were dropping to GT where S & R had been waiting half the night for us :-/ Very pleased to see the bikes.
