Positives first - it wasn't raining and control 8 was down a really nice path and exactly where I expected it.
Apart from that - I felt rubbish in fact awful in places. Breathing really hard and generally way more tired than the speed I was going. No way could keep up with dad. Also orienteering was particularly great sometimes me but sometimes the map. One control was on boulder and there was no boulder in the circle but a crag with a control on it. As well as that some controls definitely in the wrong place which wasn't helped by the mist. Even though couldn't stay with Dad kept catching him due to the control lottery and each time at least 5 people searching. Not fun really.
Good to get out but pretty obvious I am still not right. Had a easy week but still had a lot of stress. I am starting running this week but nothing hard and no stress so that hopefully I can be 100% again.

Low intensity stuff with some benching thrown in. Physio exercises for both knee and gluts. Core work and lots of mobility. Less swollen today and much more movement.

Easy around the meadows and links easing insole back in. Had a job interview this morning and then studied all day so needed to get out. Clearing the head the only purpose.
Was raining just before I left so hung on a bit as had been a day of showers. Lovely when started then about halfway it started pouring and it turned to hail which got progressively heavier and heavier it began to hurt and turn the ground white then it got heavier but in a really strange way I found myself running with a huge smile on my face. Definitely cleaner head but I look like a drowned rat!

I woke up early and decided to see how I felt. Felt a lot better than yesterday so walked into the gym to do physio stuff and lots of stretching and rolling. Did some of the usual stuff too but kept everything low and stayed off the knee. Very stiff this morning but eased off a lot as the day went on.

Just mobilizing the knee and having a break from revision. Feeling a lot better still not quite there. Kept it slow and let the legs turn over.

Note

Physio today about knee. Insoles changing the way I am move as thought. Give exercises and told to keep rolling. She also really loosened off my upper leg which made me feel SO much better. I walked home totally normal. Can run and all that but have to do mobility after. If swelling doesn't go in ten days to go back. Feeling so much happier.
