Running warm up/down 27:24 [3] 4.12 km (6:39 / km)
ahr:145 shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Orienteering race 34:05 [5] 7.58 km (4:30 / km)
ahr:178 shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Antwerp City race (5.5km)
So much fun, loved every minute of it.
Again making a real effort to kick on especially on the long legs. At times I did catch myself not doing this but it will take time. A few not so good routes including one in which an area had turned into a pond due to the rain!

Pleased to come 3rd today behind Charlotte and Galina in a pretty decent field including WOC sprinters. I'm even happier with the progress in general I am making almost race on race, hopefully can carry this forward. Fitness is coming back too. I know the feeling I'm looking for but as I didn't really manage to make a mistake all weekend I can probably go harder as need to find the limit.

Running warm up/down 50:00 [3] 8.7 km (5:45 / km)
ahr:155 shoes: Saucony Kinvara TR2

Approx. need to get data from garmin.

Orienteering race 15:13 [5] 2.6 km (5:51 / km)
ahr:181 shoes: Saucony Kinvara TR2

Antwerp Sprint 1 (2.6km). 6th.
Mostly park with a bit of straightforward urban. Course was pretty straightforward but the changes of direction and number of controls meant had to stay on top of things.

Had a minor panic at 20 that I was running down the wrong street but I wasn't. Almost didn't see the gap in the hedge right at the end. Apart from that was just being too much of a woose losing time on easy ones, not being aggressive as Dad was beating me on legs we had the same and I'm quite a bit faster. Discussed a strategy for the next one.

Enjoyed it though.

Orienteering race 17:09 [5] 3.8 km (4:31 / km)
ahr:186 shoes: Asics GT-1000 3

Antwerp Sprint 2 (3km). 6th.
Had my strategy and plan for what I wanted to get out of this race.
Again so much fun and definitely felt in places I was really going for it, flowing refusing to do those extra looks at the map, especially on the long leg near the finish. A few less than optimum routes, a wee wobble around 8 plus a wee bit of woosing creeping in when I got tired. Definitely a step forward but more to come.

Orienteering 23:55 [4] 4.29 km (5:34 / km)
ahr:167 max:186 shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Sprintervals with Beth, time includes some jogging between. Lots of extra OOB which made an area I know pretty tricky.
Not too bad on the first one, fell into the trap with the horrific route choice on 2nd, 3rd went really well and 4th struggled with the long leg, a dog started chasing me and then just couldn't see a route for ages!

So much fun though! Feeling good :).
