Running 2:16:21 [3] 12.5 mi (10:54 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Grit

Huntsville SP with Chris. Approached this one with some trepidation - achy ribs and very little running lately left me without much confidence. And, in fact, it wasn't easy. The legs felt ok, but the overall fitness wasn't there (big surprise). Plus, for the first 2/3 of the run, the rib cage wasn't feeling all that great. Still, soldiered through it and really did enjoy a lovely, super-chilly day in the park.

Hiking 4:40:00 [3] 11.0 mi (25:27 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Grit

Hill Country SNA. Very pleasant day treking around my favorite parts of the park - #1, #6, #5 trails & surrounding area mainly. Plenty of short, steep gnar gnar to hold the attention. Time includes lots of picture taking and a 15 minute lunch break.

Hiking 1:00:00 [3] 2.8 mi (21:26 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Pure Grit

Hill Country SNA - got in a little later than I would have liked, so just a short stretch of the legs around #8 trail and the Comanche Bluff overlook.

Walking 46:00 [3] 3.4 mi (13:32 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect - Electric Blue

Feeling somewhat better than yesterday, although running is still out of the question. Did I mention what an idiot I am?

Walking 34:00 [3] 2.2 mi (15:27 / mi)
shoes: Pure Connect - Electric Blue

After waking up in the middle of the night and cracking my ribs on the foot of the bed (in a less than sober state), running is probably out of the question for a few days. Literally feels like Tyson in his prime took numerous shots to my side. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
