running tempo (100 trot 100 stride) 9:12 [3] 1.0 mi (9:12 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

Fastest time. Form quickness with control.

running (2 loops OC trail) 44:31 [3] 5.0 mi (8:54 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 2

As I arrived saw a guy running in shorts. Crazy. Wind chill probably no more than 30. After track did my loops. Saw him back about 200 yards with .6 of first loop to go. He passed me at quarter mile of second loop. Got to 50 yards ahead and I hung on after that. Splits 23:40 first 2.5. 20:50 second loop. About 8:11 a mile. The guy has a little pot belly but toned legs. 45 to 50 I guess. Oh well. He pulled me along to good effort for me.
