Pic Tor
Peat Pits race was cancelled due to safety concerns and so to rescue myself from lethargy took a brisk trot up to Pic Tor and back, nice little climb up there and not too muddy

running 1:04:00 [3] 12.4 km (5:10 / km) +240m 4:42 / km

Tansley Moor Loop
with rain forecast tomorrow had to get the miles in today if I wanted to stay dry, even had some sunshine, good steady pace

Note

Rankings Up-date: End of the year position: 200th (21st in revised M45)
(I'll do well to hold those positions.)

running (fartlek) 40:39 [3] 6.81 km (5:58 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Stanton Moor
quick run around Stanton before sunset, one steady lap then fartlek, with tough sections uphill across the heather, and faster ones along the little paths, out of breath at the trig point

Orienteering race 42:34 [5] ** 9.2 km (4:38 / km) +85m 4:25 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend 7

Bakewell Urban Event
good burn around Bakewell in the rain chasing Aidan Smith (for a while) and then Andy Preston, very pleased with pace, straightforward navigation, finished third, 3mins down

(nominal distance 6.4km)

running 1:43:00 [3] 15.47 km (6:39 / km) +250m 6:10 / km
ahr:142 max:177 shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Padley Gorge, Millstones, Higger, Stanage, Hathersage
loop from Grindleford station, in the rain, but with the wind at our backs on the way up to Higger, ran through the heather behind Stanage to stay sheltered, steady pace, no struggles on the climbs

That's 200km for December, well above my target
