Running 30:15 [3] 4.03 mi (7:30 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Glide 5

18 minute warm up 12 minute cool down

Running intervals 7:11 [4] 1.25 mi (5:45 / mi)
shoes: Nike Mamba 2015

This was at St. Frances. It was literally just me and Jenny. I felt like it was a workout it was kinda funny actually cause we were talking and stuff during it. This was good practice! I got to practice hurdling and water pits! But the water pits weren't all the great still. I had one really good one that ended up hurting my ankle so I'll have to be careful I guess. But I only ran 2k of this then did an odd workout after with the 800 runners but Jenny ran a 10:53 or something like that but unfortunately hurt her heal on her second to last lap landing in the pit so it looks like she won't even be steepling at A10s which is a huge bummer...

Running intervals 2:40 [4] 0.55 mi (4:51 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Glide 5

This was the workout with the sprinters after it was 6x150 at like a fast stride. I honestly have no idea how fast or how long each one took. But it was fast. Too fast for me.

Running 34:30 [3] 4.6 mi (7:30 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Glide 5

Easy run because I was informed yesterday that I'm going to the meet this weekend to pace Jenny in the steeple since they think that Danica Jenny and I can go 1-2-3 at A10s. But Jenny needs a time to get in the fast heat and since there's only 2 other girls that will be in this race Coach wanted me to go run 2k of the race so Jenny isn't alone. At least I'll get some practice over the barriers and in the water pits. I'd rather do this than a workout anyways

Tuesday Apr 21, 2015 #

Running warm up/down 38:00 [3] 4.6 mi (8:16 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

18 minute warm up and a 20 minute cool down the usual 2.3 mile loop around the city

Running tempo 7:12 [3] 1.25 mi (5:46 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

We were supposed to do workout that involved some form of ladder, but it was hella windy on our rinky dink track so we did a 2k at 87 for the 400s to start

Running intervals 2:47 [4] 0.5 mi (5:34 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

Then we did 3x800 except instead of trying to hit times in the wind he had us stride the straights and jog the curves and our track is like 230 meters so the turns were pretty short. It was definitely an odd workout but still a good effort. Little bummed we didn't get to do a ladder though cause I like ladder workouts!

Running intervals 2:46 [4] 0.5 mi (5:32 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

Running intervals 2:46 [4] 0.5 mi (5:32 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

Running intervals 2:00 [4] 0.37 mi (5:25 / mi)
shoes: Nike Lunar Racer 3

He originally wanted us to do 2-3 800s but after the third we wanted to do more so he let us do a 600 instead of an 800

Saturday Apr 18, 2015 #

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

15 Minute warm up and a 45 minute cool down with Jenny

Running race 4:36 [5] 1.5 km (3:04 / km)
shoes: Nike Mamba 2015

Well this was my first 1500 since senior year at the Dual Meet against Rush where I ran a 4:43. So I had no idea what to expect going into this. But the race went out and Jenny and I were in dead last and I was thinking okay..well this is gonna be a waste of a race. But then then coming around for the first lap the front pack already started breaking away so I was like well if I don't go with that pack we have no chance at doing anything so Jenny and I edged out into the third lane and worked our way up through the gap to the back of the front pack. The first lap went out in a 71. Then we hung out there for a lap or so and then going into the the last lap I felt pretty good so I worked my way up to third where two Bucknell girls were leading. And the whole time I was wondering if I was gonna die at the 200 or something. But coming around the backstretch Tom was screaming wait till the 200 to go and then he said wait till the water pit. But I just hung on with the Bucknell girl leading and we passed the third girl then the Bucknell girl and I raced to the finish and I got second to her. I wish now that I had like really killed myself to beat her because that would have been cool but it's okay it was my first 1500. I felt good for most of it and I really hope I can double at A10s in the 15 and the steeple. ECACs is a 4:34. I wish I had known that going in cause I might have pushed a little harder. But it doesn't really matter cause it's not like I'm gonna run that at ECACs.
