Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 39:43 [3] 4.7 mi (8:27 / mi)

Again feeling lethargic, I don't suspect that to change for over a week. Still, despite being down 2 mins on my average at the top of the second hill I still managed to finish a min faster than yesterday; 2 mins slower than my best on this course.

Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 40:42 [3] 4.7 mi (8:40 / mi)

Lazy and lethargic. That time is approaching, so that's not going to have helped. Also feeling a bit down today which never helps either. Only a few more days and I will be running on the flat at sea level. I wonder whether it'll make any difference at all?

Running (Undulating + staff hill) 44:20 [3] 5.5 mi (8:04 / mi)

Feeling quite sluggish in my running at the moment. My shins were hurting at the start of the run, and my right leg went weak a couple of times on the way down staff hill ... ??? I think I need to detox, go ++ for nutrition and do speed training on the flat when back in the UK. I can do that for the month of may, then get into trail running when I'm back.

Running 45:25 [3] 5.5 mi (8:15 / mi)

Slow run. Nice day. Didn't put much effort in as still feeling quite lethargic from monday night ...

Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 37:42 [3] 4.7 mi (8:01 / mi)

Best time yet on this course. Ran well, but felt awful ... or rather it was hard, but when arent hills hard!

Running (With Phil) 41:57 [3] 4.7 mi (8:56 / mi)

Running with Phil. Uphill route. He did really well. Best person I've taken out so far. I was absolutely exhausted from no sleep the last two nights and work, so this is probably as fast as I would have ran alone.

Running (With Liam) 55:00 [3] 5.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Liams first run in like 2 years or something. He did very well. No walking, and though whinged a little, ran all the way up to staff.

Running (Nice undulating + hills) 1:07:53 [3] 8.41 mi (8:04 / mi)

Beautiful day for a run. I should have been hungover. I wasn't, though not on top form either. It's nice to see that my times are getting faster on hills. It'll be interesting to see what running back at home on the flat'll be like. I can't wait until I can get back into orienteering and try out the forests around here. I am excited that I've found an orienteering club in Whistler, and that they've some training sessions for beginners; can refresh my memory...what does green mean again?? ;) I need to remember to bring my stuff back from the UK in May.

medicine ball (ouch!!!) 1:00:00 [3]

Yep that's going to hurt tomorrow, and lets be honest all week :) Great class. Gabe stepped it up from last week and that hurt me enough ...

Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 43:33 [3] 4.7 mi (9:16 / mi)

Only one word can describe how my body feels at the moment ... PAIN!!!

Friday Apr 5, 2013 #

Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 40:00 [3] 4.7 mi (8:31 / mi)

Didnt take my watch. Ouch I was hurting from Gabes class yesterday. Stuck at it though. Might not be able to move tomorrow.

Swimming 30:00 [3]

30 lengths. Gentle breast stroke just to loosen me up. Then sat in hot tub.

Running (OUTSIDE :) HILLS) 1:09:46 [3] 8.41 mi (8:18 / mi)

Terrible period pain yesterday, and not so fun today. At least today I could get out of bed and run. Yesterday I had to stay in bed until 12.30 as couldn't move :( Then was just far to tender and exhausted to contemplate running. Boo being female. I think the fact that I've dropped down to three runs a week has brought the pain back with vengence. I'll try and increase the runs back up in the summer, if only just to make sure I dont go through that again.

medicine ball (ouch!!!) 1:00:00 [3]

Gabes medicine ball class. Pain is the name of the game. Good though. I should do this every week for sure.
