ah... bonjour.

Day one in Font with a phat blister and a tired body after some late night travel. But I felt great - evidence so far is that altitude is an absolute myth you literally just run to feel and it feels exactly like running anywhere else except the view is Pyrenees instead of Plant Sciences. Maybe I'll be proven wrong tomorrow.

Aimed up towards the trails, but bumped into the boys who had driven 5 mins up the road to do laps of the astroturf. They took me on a nice tour of the track and some adjacent roads, then trails home solo. I'm probably not here long enough to get much altitude benefit, but definitely long enough to make the most of some nice off-road climbs and, maybe more importantly, descents
