Scoot around the drier sections of Palgrave before work now the rain stopped I traded my strength workout for a ride outdoors- well worth it. Turkeys and deer and squirrels, oh my.

shoes: Topo MTNRacer 3

Run to work and back with Stephen. He was pretty motivated with all the wildlife but was on harness.

Monday Apr 29 #

Hiking 1:30:00 [1]

We did the final sections of trail checking and clearing, then took the boys on a mission to look for missing dog Gus. He’d followed us for 2km down a road in the past. No luck, but Grif found him heading home later.

10 AM

Hiking 1:32:40 [1] 6.0 km (15:27 / km) +182m 13:25 / km

Trail clearing with Bash. We were able to cut and move a fair sized tree and saved hauling a chainsaw a long way in.
4 PM

Hiking 2:21:31 intensity: (1:57:58 @0) + (20:53 @1) + (2 @2) + (2:38 @3) 6.38 km (22:10 / km) +97m 20:36 / km
ahr:90 max:130

Trail inspection and clearing
Paradise Hwy, Red Death and Kev’s Way with Bash. We were able to cut and move some messy fallen trees.

The intersection at 54 is a muddy mess, the worst part on all the year-round trails.
