of small point features (to an extent) counteracts the bingo factor, if paired with other navigable features. Too few is a problem; so is too many (Burnt mtn rocks might be an example)

Yes, but they are mostly SMALL features, which makes them harder to find, especially at night. Not many contours or line features to speak of.
