I love my OL-Tech chair backpack !!
It came to to me in the absolute coolest way. On the morning of the WMOC 2007 finals in Kuusamo, Finland, I was warming up saw it there with a note essentially saying "Free to a good home." A number of people were also looking at it but passed it up (probably because they already had one from WMOC 2006). I had always wanted and needed such a backpack so I took it with an internal promise to always bring it to international meets. I still have the note and it it ends with the words from a Xxxxx orienteer crossed out by the former owner (& barely legible) as a second thought or full attempt at annonymity. I'll keep their nationality a secret per this request but thank them for this kind gift and awesome gifting mechanism.
Know also that it will return to WMOC & Austria next summer.

Adrie, I presume you are related to Leike? Haven't seen her in a while. Will she be back for WOC next year?

I got a note from Eric that the o-store.ca has just started selling these. He may post more details or you can check their site.

We (o-store.ca) are indeed selling them. You can find the list of models we carry here. Unfortunately the shipping cost might still be quite high as they are all quite bulky and decently heavy. We will have them for sale at the WCOCs and COCs in Alberta in August if anyone is looking for one but wants to avoid shipping costs.

edit:
I should clarify - when I say "quite bulky and decently heavy" I mean in terms of getting them into a box for shipping. Our largest bags carry 40 and 45 litres and weigh about 3 kg due to the aluminum frame for the seat. The extra weight due to the frame is far outweighed by the benefits of having a seat attached as far as I'm concerned.

Shipping should be between $25-$35 for most of Canada and about double that for shipping to the US.
