The problems of long distance relationships, huh, Boris?

I find that there aren't any problems if you just make sure that you're totally irresistable. Works for me. It's easy.

Boris *is* totally irresistible and I'm only putting up with two more years of this long-distance thing. Afterward, either I'm moving to Sweden or he's moving to the US with me. I want to live in the same country :)

Same country is a good minimum requirement. I'd pick a smaller one, though. You could still end up 1000's of km apart in the US. ;-)

It's when you measure the distance in frequent flyer miles rather than real miles that you know you have a true long-distance relationship.

Hmm, that's a good one, though I'm a hardcore Southwest flier, so I count "trips", which means cutting the distance by 1/5 does nothing to decrease the frequent flier bonuses! How sweet it is...

But that makes the calculations less involved. For instance, how can you maximise weather reroutings to make sure you get elite status the following year...

Bah, weather reroutings. I just make it a habit to fly oversold flights and collect handsome vouchers in return for being bumped. Elite status, elite shmatus.
