[From O-maps Yahoo Group]
I am a Swiss runner and mapper, currently mapping in the area of
Zermatt/Matterhorn (Switzerland). We will have two maps going up to
3,100 m above sea level (10,150 feet) for next year's Swiss O Week.
In addition, we plan a small map on the glacier at 3,700 to 3,900 m
(12,000 to 12,800 feet).
We are looking for information about other o-maps at high altitude.
We know Mt. Fuji in Japan (3775 m) and have heard about an o-map in
China at a similar level. We have also heard about o-maps in Colorado
above 3,000 m (10,000 feet). Does anybody know about other high
altitude maps in the world? Is anybody able to give more details about
the highest maps in the US (location, altitude, contact person)?
Thanks in advance!

Thomas
