Sketchy scramble up a moraine and up to the mountain bowl for lunch.

Basically rock climbing and snow slipping up to a nice little alpine plateau before heading back down. Super sketchy going up, and super sketchy coming down. Slid all the way down the snow almost falling in a small rock hole ... then some scree sliding back home.

Yukon Champs Long Distance

Mostly just chugging along, nothing special. Drifted off on my bearings a ton in the vague terrain, especially to #6. Otherwise feeling strong in the forest despite heavy legs after steep climbs late in the race.

Orienteering after another long car ride with full sun and no AC. I think I sweated more in the car than during this training...

Left ankle held up well this weekend. I wore my brace every day which was much needed in lots of rock scrambling sections. But long days in a brace makes my ankle feel very compressed and stiff. Some good work on it tomorrow is in order, but first, sleep.
