Riding 1:00:00 [2]

Home > Bakers, bats > home

Riding 1:20:00 [3]

Bakers > down the Merri to the Boulie > about 1.75 laps to finish with a picnic with the bats (and Rob and Fin).

Boulie ride with Ezy and CB1. CB1 was smashing it in a one-person baker-way (it's a pun on breakaway). I was struggling and was breathing pretty heavily on the hills.

Note

Cyprus' entry in 2006 - Why Angels Cry.

Running 23:57 [4] 4.99 km (4:48 / km) +23m 4:42 / km

Coburg Parkrun. Felt too hot but only about 20 degrees - I need to harden up.

Was a bit of a struggle. I think I need to stop going as I keep getting slower. Passed one guy 3 times - thought I heard him coming back again but he must have cracked at about 3 km. Maybe his interval session was over.

Running 30:00 [3]

Yarra Bend cruise. Needed to get my nature fix - glad I did. Perfect evening for running :)

Followed by too many delicious pancakes, thanks Jayne :) Not sure I ran far enough to offset all the Nutella...

Note

The Austrian entry from 1977, which according to Wikipedia was 'one of the more controversial entries in Contest history' for making fun of the whole Eurovision concept. I suspect it may have been surpassed in those stakes. Check out the backing singers' 'costume change' at 1:36...
