slept:8.0 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2020)

As of 4/29, I was ahead of Monica by a tenth of a mile in the Roost 100-mile club standings. Last Wednesday, 5/6, she ran 9.4 and I only ran 4.5. DOH! (I think she counts her dog-walking -- which is allowed.) So I aimed for six miles today to try to catch up again...

Home - Davidson Mesa - Harper Lake - Home. I walked the uphill part in the first mile (sore calves from yesterday's hill workout), and went at a very casual (slow) pace the rest of the time.

- Ran one mile to cool down.

Note

On Sunday (and on a few previous walks and drives recently), I had repeatedly circled around & through a certain area near my neighborhood, trying to find a mini train car I had spotted in someone's yard in early April. I wanted to use it as a checkpoint in the next LoCO FIT photo scavenger hunt.

I was going nuts because I was certain I had seen it, but couldn't find it again!

Turns out it was moved to a new location on April 24th. I'm glad I asked -- our our town's Facebook page -- because I was really making myself crazy trying to remember where I had first seen it...
