Running 1:01:00 [3]

Parked on the northern side of Urambi Hills and ran anticlockwise around and down to the centenary trail by the Murrumbidgee. Ran some tempo along there and turned around at the fence crossing where I always turn around coming from the other direction (Kambah Pool). Some more tempo back to Urambi Hills where I continued on the anticlockwise route and climbed to the top of the hill. Then it wasn't far back down to the car. Great run and a nice hot day for it.

Running 48:00 [3]

Drove to the base of Taylor (east) and ran around and up the southern steep path, down the northern zig-zag path, around, up the western path and down the eastern steepest path. I had never run down this path in all my time.
Did hills so I didn't have to do anything fast.

Running (hills) 33:00 [3]

Lunchtime run with work peeps. This is actually a really nasty session. I'm OK with being last up the hills, but there's a limit as to how far back I'm prepared to be!

Running 1:03:00 [3]

After a picnic and play in Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, I ran from a carpark up to Gibraltar Rocks. I hadn't planned to end up there but I took the wrong path which took me to the top of the ridge, just up from the Rocks. I then ran back down the other side and made a loop of it, finishing up at the visitors centre.

Running 30:00 [3]

I had planned to run with the work running group at lunch today, but realised when I got in that I'd forgotten to pack my running shoes. Oops.
So I did an evening run on Mt Taylor. I drove up to the base and parked right where some people were trying to shoo a snake out of their garden and into the green strip :s So I was on high alert for snakes, given that it had been 36 degrees and all. I ran up the southern rocky path (new for me) and down the SE main walking path which is mostly concrete :s Lovely evening for it.

Running 1:05:25 [4] 10.6 km (6:10 / km)

Pearl iZUMi Bundy Run.
First time this race has been held. We go to Bundanoon a fair bit so knew it was a lovely place for a trail race. Unfortunately the misty drizzle set in but it wasn't too bad, we just lost all the speccy views. The course was varied with roads, 4WD tracks, stairs and technical single-track (we went down the escarpment and back up). Plenty of climb. I was 2nd female in my race (5th but the top three continued on in the HM). Apart from categorising me as a "veteran woman" in the entries/results, it was a good event.

Running 26:00 [3]

Dropped Florence off at Kingston for lunch with Dad, then I headed to the wetlands for a run around the paths there. At one point I came across a fox cub which I initially mistook for a hare. It was SO cute. I know I shouldn't like foxes at the wetlands, but when they're that cute...

Running (fartlek) 27:00 [3]

Drove to the base of Mt Taylor reserve and did a lap. It felt strange doing this in the light, could see a lot more!

Running 34:00 [3]

From the back of Chifley, along a small path past some ponds and up the western rocky path that Matt uses to the top of Mt Taylor. Down the usual zig-zag path to home. As I was stretching about to set off, a mt-biker kindly told me to watch out for snakes as he'd already seen "a few Browns" out today. Thanks! :s
