Ten miles to celebrate the start of '10 :-)

Cross Training 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Nike Air Max Moto+ 6

I got my brother an "all weather" football for Christmas, so we had to try it out at a local snow-covered park. First we had a HORSE-style field goal kicking challenge. When we were tied up at HORS we decided to go for a 10 throw sudden death match behind a line a certain ways out, and I ended up winning decisively :). Then we practiced running and catching, which was fun other than discovering some mud and ice beneath the snow certain places. We finished off with a field goal throwing challenge for distance, which he won. Very fun!

Cross Training 19:15 [3] 1.0 mi (3.1 mph)

Fitness club 26 laps = 1 mile with alternating 10 PU and 10 reps of some ab exercise on each lap (so total 130 PU). Lap to lap, I would follow my dad, who was walking around the track, but I had to run to catch up with him and then walk until the lap was up.

Swimming 16:05 [2]

Last game of pool tag with my sister, going up to Chicago for the remainder of the break.

Swimming 40:00 [2]

At the fitness club, my sister and I played another game of water tag. We excluded the roped-off lanes, so we had a little over half the pool. I added the rule that you couldn't tag someone if they were completely underwater, which made for some interesting playing. While she made no effort to not be tagged, I often couldn't just swim underneath her to safety (or swim around her), so I usually had to kick off of walls to get by her. Very fun!

Running 8:16 [3] 1.0 mi (8:16 / mi)
shoes: Nike Air Max Moto+ 6

Running on an indoor track--since it was 26 laps to one mile, I probably either did extra laps or was just slowed down by the frequency of turns.

Cross Training 26:00 [2]

After the indoor track run, I stopped to do some ab exercises and say hi to a girl I knew. Then I ran to the other end of the fitness club and did some bench press work. I started at 115 and went up by 10 each time to 155, which I did 2 of, and went back down. First time doing bench press in months, I need to do more weights especially since I'm the company physical development officer next semester.
