Orienteering 55:00 [3]
(sick)
Fun and tough race today. Humber Valley Hellrunner. First race in 3 months and really enjoyed it. Wishing I had more energy at the end as I dropped a few places with one CP to go. Flu and O don't mix. Thanks Pete, Keith and the rest of the CN crew for a great time and the best post race food anywhere! Time includes warmup
Note
One hour of hockey at Churchill with AG and NP. Nice and sunny and good ice. Followed by video replay of AG's race today. Need to do some more armchair route choice strategy Homework.
A few hours after today's training and the legs are feeling it. Forgot how fun and tough a good snowy thomass race can be. Makes one tougher for the O season and racing in areas with soft ground. The snow was sugery but not typical CN thomass depths so still quite fast. Looking forward to the 25cm expected on tues-wed since we need deeper snow to train for the snowshoe raid. TNT will be a killer this week!
