Bike 1:35:00 [3] 20.0 mi (12.6 mph)

Plan was: Up at 5AM to ride POS to Harriet Island; ride with Heather to River bottoms and back; Meet Jay and others for club run; then ride back home. First flat occured on way back to Harriet Island. My spare tube had a hole, so used Heather's tube instead. I noticed the tire's sidewall was split, and was rightly concerned about getting home after the run. After running ten miles I got about 30 ft on the bike before the new tube blew. Robin and the boys gave me a ride home from Grumpy Steve's.

Ran with 12 lb pack as the day heated up, after biking to Harriet Island. Late start after flat tire and meeting Jay's new baby girl, "Frankie". Caught up to Jill, then Aleshia and John, then Jeff, then Nicky. All the faster runners were off doing races this weekend. Abrasion on lower back from CamelBack swinging around.

River bottoms loop, including exploration to find better circle route. Planned on about an hour long ride before work... turned into much more than that!
