Walking 24:00 [2] 1.35 mi (17:46 / mi) +15m 17:11 / mi
shoes: Saucony Shadow 6000 #6 - H

To PO to mail a bill, before prepping for tomorrow's adventure. Hope the rain comes through and passes by tonight if it comes at all.

Upper 60s and mostly sunny, for now.

AOWN note: lots of wooly bear caterpillars on the move (at least, the ones that aren't squished). Most have a decent sized brown stripe, though many look like they have a black stripe down the brown, lengthwise. Or maybe that's just my eyes.

This is probably going around, but I just got it today via email. Fun. What did you score?

You'd think real estate agents would try a bit harder. This site discovered on the other social media (Facebook).

Pilates class 55:00 [1]

We went to Pittsburgh Sunday for a funeral Monday and didn't have time for much exercise (but did do lots of driving). Pilates was challenging today; I think she tried on purpose to make it hard. :-) Balls and weights occasionally thrown into the mix.

Walking 15:04 [3] 1.0 mi (15:04 / mi)
shoes: Sauc.Shad.6000#7-2012H

On the indoor track at the Y. Only one couple there when I started, using both inside lanes, so I stayed on the outside (and passed them a couple of times, before they departed).

Also strength: adductors and pull downs.

Note

Walked about a mile, between funiculars (inclines) in Pittsburgh, PA (after the funeral for my sister in law's father). We rode the Monongahela Incline up to Mount Washingtom, then walked along the ridge to Grandview (which looks down the Allegheny R. as well as the Monong.) and took the Duquesne Incline back down the hill. Then we trekked back to where we parked, traveling along the Monongahela R. but with a fence and railroad tracks between us and the water. Dinner at the Church Brew Works (another angle)
which we discovered when in the area for the WPOC A-meet a few years ago.

Saw a bear at sunset on the drive home, near Blue Fox Run GC in Avon Center, CT!
