swimming 35:00 [3] 1.0 km (35:00 / km)

Before a morning at work in the dispensary, after which I rewarded myself with the viewing of more Topi the Corgi videos. I wonder if we could get Meatloaf to wear a tuxedo? So far we've only got him to wear Geoff's tradie shirts :)

running (Shepherds Hill) 32:00 [3]
shoes: Asics 2000-4

Exhausted by the end of the week but feeling better than yesterday, and this was pleasanter than the flat suburbs would have been plus included a couple of decent hills.

I spent a bit too much of the evening looking at YouTube videos of Topi The Corgi from Finland...
"Dogs on Tinder" is one of the best: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC62zoJ8N9JdSnFDbc...

Up the park boundary, back along Long Gully, with Zara/Callum, Leith, Bridget. Not quite as exhausted as yesterday but I had real difficulty breathing, partly because of the 100% humidity. Afterwards G & I took his visiting sister for dinner at Windy Point and watched the cloud rolling up the hill from below us, obscuring the much-vaunted view of the lights of Adelaide. Dinner was great :) and I sampled an amazing pink gin cocktail topped with Persian fairy floss!

riding (Brownhill Creek) 1:07:00 [3] 19.5 km (3:26 / km)

An hour of solitude after another busy day of hosting and feeding guests: 11 of us adults in total, 5 small children and one baby; the orienteering course which I had set on the non ISSOM map - drawn late last night - of Meatloaf's Garden was a great success and Eleanor even went around twice (in the hope of obtaining a second Christmas-tree penguin prize?). SLEH have gone back to Darwin now, I miss them already!

running (Belair) 56:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Kayano 22

Christmas morning run with the Arro-Gang. To the redwoods, up & over the big hill (with which I really struggled), back along Long Gully. A bit of group attrition along the way, but at the start there were all of: Robin, Bridget, Simon, Tyson, John, Lauren, Kieran, Andrew Mogs, Zara, TinselDog and myself.

running 1:22:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Kayano 23

After dropping parents home after spending 8 hours hosting 3 generations of the family for extended lunch, I parked @Brownhill Creek and ran up Yurrebilla, back over/down Brown Hill on a cool blustery evening with golden hazy sunset. Thinking about a midnight NYE run up here to see the fireworks - is anyone interested?
