Just realized that my 50K less than a week away...panic volume training is in progress! An early morning run on the Bench out to Harvey Heights, and around Larch...felt a bit rough at the start (probably due to late night Easter Bash festivities), but progressivily got better as the pace picked up - body was tired in the last hour, but still felt like I could go longer...

Was supposed to be a team workout with the BV Harriers, but I arrived late...and the crew was gone...Oh, and then I realized I had forgotten my running shoes and my watch - hard to do intervals w/o a watch...So my 'dressy' SpeedCross became the shoe of the day, and my iphone became my stop watch...

A quick warmup in the Edworthy Park trails, and back around to the parking to start the intensity workout - a la solo. I figured I might run into the boys if I went reverse, and after 5 intervals, I did - unfortunately they were done. So I ran back and forth, finishing off my last 3, mingling w/ them in between. 8 X 3min @ threshold, done. Actually felt pretty speedy today...good tempo, but lacking speed in the latter intervals, somewhat expected I suppose.

Easy warmup/down run to and from AE gym...feeling stiff today.

Crossfit workout:
7 sets of: 3x Front Squats + 5x L-Pullups

Went easy today since I was still sore from yesterday's first CF workout - what? I'm actually getting smart about this...? Went light on the front squats so my hammies would survive tomorrow's run intensity- duh.
