Road Running intervals 25:00 [4] 8.0 km (3:08 / km)
Was supposed to be a team workout with the BV Harriers, but I arrived late...and the crew was gone...Oh, and then I realized I had forgotten my running shoes and my watch - hard to do intervals w/o a watch...So my 'dressy' SpeedCross became the shoe of the day, and my iphone became my stop watch...
A quick warmup in the Edworthy Park trails, and back around to the parking to start the intensity workout - a la solo. I figured I might run into the boys if I went reverse, and after 5 intervals, I did - unfortunately they were done. So I ran back and forth, finishing off my last 3, mingling w/ them in between. 8 X 3min @ threshold, done. Actually felt pretty speedy today...good tempo, but lacking speed in the latter intervals, somewhat expected I suppose.
