XC de la Valley - Day 2 - 21km
Ouch - that hurt! A super technical track for 18km. Relentless terrain that allowed for absolutely no rest. Staying in contention running with EL (fighting for 2nd and 3rd) until 3km to go, where my body started shutting down just as the final flat section started. Lost 2min in the last 3.5k...not a good finish, but happy with hard work this weekend.

XC de la Vallee - 10k night race.
Wow, nothing like blasting through the darkness on sweet technical singletrack - loved it. Body felt good for it's first fast-ish burn around the 3.3km loop. Not much speed, but good enough to hang with DLP for a while...Tomorrow will be a bit harder, as there's another 21k on tap!

Body felt rough after yesterday's first run, right lower calf felt pretty stiff, but energy seems quite good.
