Bike 20:00 [2]

rockman ride - though not as much effort as he puts in. Election coverage is just as boring from the bike as from the lounge so better to ride.

stretching 10:00 [1]

Half on right glute and half on toes - seems fair.

walking 1:15:00 [2]

Purposeful walk putting out controls for a CATI day for Lake Munmorah HS at Brickworks. Beautiful day - weather was great. Kids good so fun times.

stretching 5:00 [1]

Not enough and not toes, but good for the calf and shin. Hopefully more tonight

gym class (Step and Strength) 50:00 [3]

Sadly the last of this class before change in timetable. Instructor was the instigator of this class so it was a goodie. Still it felt long - but I'm feeling better now I've had some vegs and no bread.

stretching 10:00 [3]

Before class - so much needed

gym class (Body Step) 50:00 [3]

Felt a bit weak throughout - diet very much out of balance at the moment - too much bread and no vegs - yuck. But will settle over the next day or so.
Tried hard - pleased to be able to do something.

Event 1:31:00 [3] ***
spiked:14/18c

This was an interesting course - a mix of point to point and within it 3 sections of score style. All was going well until #8 which eluded me for probably 10 mins, so this being in the score section I delayed it and moved on to next control. Came at it from the "top" after completing that loop and found it, though I struggle to see controls in gymea lily areas. That section completed moved to the next - again all well at the beginning but faltered on #13 (having got #15 ,#16 and #17 before) but did a first for me. Following veg boundary skirted past control and ran off the map. I have arrived as an orienteer - all the best do it! Decided to give up and headed south to get the remaining controls and "found" the elusive #13 - perfectly in a parallel universe! Stormy squall hit while en route to #14 so needed to protect map. More south travel and then in for the last - which to be honest I wasn't much interested in - again on a tree root mound in gymea lily area so hard for me to see landforms etc. So ...nice area and really interesting course - just not switched on. C'est la vie!

stretching 10:00 [1]

Tightness in right leg and toes look awful. Need to direct some attention there. May need a massage later this week to relieve some stress.
