Cougar Mt ring with Dan Paquette, Jon Robinson and Edgardo Balansay.

We started out too fast for me and so I suffered from the gun. Occaisionally I would catch up on a descent but at the next ascent I was promptly OTB. Edgardo hung tough!

The forecast was for rain but it held off. Nice. I never got cold which was a bonus.

My left ankle felt okay, not perfect but okay. My right glute/hamstring is still twinging when I run. Suck. Ever feel like your bosy is messed up? That's me right now.

4 walkers on my own to warm up and then alternating walking and running with JIm. I help back just a tad and that helped so much... I was still running by the endof the workout and my heart rate got higher than last week. I think I was also fresher.

Fleet Feet run

My GPS did not kick in for a bit... darn.

It was somewhat relaxed at the start but then surprise, surprise, we went up the Howe Street stairs! Just a bonush climb and then back down and on the normal route. Up Interlaken and Galer was a steady effort.

Active Recovery

30 minutes on the treadmill all at 8:00 pace. It did exactly waht it was supposed to, I felt better after than when I started. I had to hold back as I felt fine after about 10 minutes and could have gone faster but am glad I did not.

Cougar 10 + De Leo with Brian Morrison, Edgardo Balansay and the SRC crew.

It was SO beautiful out today... the branches were all frosty and the trail was perfect and except for the fact that I was sucking wind up the first climb it was quiet enjoyable. Actually I was sucking wind up a couple of climbs but who's counting. I felt good at the end.

My right side (glute/hamstring/IT band) is feeling even better than yesterday.
