Orienteering race 20:00 [3]

Sprint in Ascona, makes some mistakes in the begining and get lost in some olive-green. The rest of the race I run ok technically but struggle with wet streets and try not to crash into too many other runners. The map was really wrong on the way to the 14th control (this area should really not have been used for the race) but luckily I didn't loose too much here. In the finish I was not really tired, but my race was enough for a 8th position. Went to the organizers and told them that I had been running in forbidden areas in the beginning, and got diqualified. That was correct. Anyway nice to see that eventhough I couldn't really run full speed because it was risky, and made some mistakes, I still got a good position!

Swiss Champs in Middle Distance. Ran technically good inbetween, but had some smaller problems. I am therefore not fully satiesfied with my performance, but the 8th position was still quite good.

3000m with Mari, Carl was speed-holder and Lene the timekeeper. Carl ran at 82 rounds. I could follow very well the first 1000m, and ran in on 3:24min. The 2nd 1000m is always the hardest mentally, and also this time I lost time here. Ran on 3:33min, and the last was also hard, but managed to run constantly and lost only a little more with 3:34min. Mari was able to run a bit faster than me on the 2nd 1000m, but lost some time in the 3rd, and I almost catch her again.
