How many years in a row have you spotted an eagle? Has it usuallybeen in the same place?

The count has had eagles every year (this count started 8 years ago). This year they were in the tree with the nest. Usually we see one or more along the river either near or within a mile of the nest. The count also usually finds one at a lake on the west edge of the count area. The count total this year was 6, which was a new record (my group saw 2). Count total was 63 species, also a record. My group had about 35, including the only purple finches (5), great blue heron (2), eastern meadowlark (1), and killdeer (16) seen on the count.
