bosu is obviously good, but just balancing on one foot on the ground is a very good exercise. Very low tech. No equipment necessary.

Did the ankle exercise on the ground for a week, so figured it was time to move up to the bosu. I should be doing the bosu regularly anyway as I could really use improvement in my stability.

Can you stand on it with your eyes closed? Pretty awesome stabilization exercise.

I can barely stand on it with my eyes open. I try standing on one foot and I last about ten seconds.

Had to look up Bosu. Looks precarious. I can't stand on one foot on level ground for more than ten seconds.

Louise and Rachel are like flamingos: they can stand on one foot like the three of us stand on two feet.

Well, that's the ideal. Try just standing on the floor (not the Bosu) with your eyes closed. You should feel your ankle working really hard. If you get to where you can just stand there and not feel the ankle working, you will have strengthened it considerably.
