Sounds like a good way to knock over a lamp or destroy our TV! I'm thinking we should limit this one to times when one of us can spot the other.

You get better pretty quickly if do the stuff religiously, daily. Really. The BOSU rocks for making you more stable for lots of things.

Agreed, we've been using it for other stuff but not jumping onto it while flipped. So far so good but if it goes wrong, there's a lot of force to fling you in a random direction!

Quick clarification: which way is flipped? Flat side up or doughy side up?

Flat side up. So if you jump on it and land off-centre by much, it's a lot of force flinging your body in an unexpected direction in a room full of immoveable objects. A personal trainer friend had a client who bopped himself on the head pretty hard when he was just stepping off a flipped bosu (incorrectly).

If you take some air out it'll be less catapult-like!

Good point! We use it with the rounded side up more often so maybe we need two. We were introduced to Balance Cushions at last week's boot camp and they take up way less space so I'm thinking that might be our next piece of fitness gear.
