Maybe. I've been if the school that if it doesn't matter enough to watch it when it is on, I probably don't need to watch the reruns. But there are a few things that would be nice to watch at my convenience.

It's nice to plan your life without regard for TV schedules. One way of doing that is to give up TV entirely but I like having the choice. Even if you're watching a show almost-live, you can start watching 20 minutes late, then fast forward through all the commercials, which is great. You can also record "Boundless" while watching the Tour, as we did the other night. This does require some caution during the Tour de France since you could see or hear spoilers in the media or from friends. On days when you would be really bummed to have your surprise ruined, it takes some extra effort to disconnect until you watch the show - but that can be a treat in itself.
