saving cycling $$ for big trip next xmas (and hopefully a new bike). deciding between chch + nelson + ghost road or derby.

I want to go to derby too, if there is ever cheap ferry tickets we could probably do it on a weekend. Will let you know what the ghost road is like

unfortunately cheap ferry tickets don't work out so well when you need to drive 2 days each way to get to the boat.

Yeah, flying definitely easier from brissy (and so it seems from Melbourne)
