about that. I was wondering the same thing. We also started on the west and then finished with some on the east. I let Nathan pick the macro route because he missed this one 2 years ago and hadn't seen the rocks yet. We ended up doing a route pretty similar to what I did then, except without losing a bunch of time at the beginning due to arriving late. I haven't found my old map but it seemed like many of the controls were in the same places, or maybe roughly so.

Now that splits are posted I was thinking about looking at other people's routes to see what ended up being most points efficient. But that depends on still having enough energy left at the end of a day.

I thought the east side controls we're closer to the trails and in more obvious places. Some of the difference may be a result of "who set the control". I missed 35? , A west side stream junction in an area with multiple stream junctions. I got it after attacking from a different point. It was a stream junction but both legs were very shallow and one was about 10 feet long. To me it was a silly place to put a control.
