It's the 50th anniversary of the first official women's race at the Boston Marathon (which takes place on Monday), and there's a recent news article about Sara Mae, and their history.

Unrelated to marathoning, Ari-O also submitted the puzzle that was used as the qualifier for NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday puzzle segment last week (the person who answered it and had her name selected got to play the puzzle on the air yesterday morning).
