We were there last month and loved it! The Tourist Office has orienteering maps or you can use your phone. It made for a great tour!

What a cool idea! Thx! But between gravelling with our friend here, and doing some running and cross fitting, think we will keep busy enough from an athletic perspective. We have spent time in Girona in the past - this trip, sadly, there is a super tacky annual flower festival on this week that has the place overrun with distracted zombie like tourists - locals are not thrilled with it all……it is not even pretty, just super plasticky and tacky! Weird!

We just walked the orienteering map but it was really interesting trying to navigate tiny stariways, passages and tunnels under and around the wall looking for secret hidden gardens as a recovery stroll.

Oh! Nice! It is crazy here with the festival - never seen so much police presence at a flower festival ……TONS of people crowding all the little lane ways and cobblestone roads - bit of a shit show.

Yikes- other than the odd tour group it wasn’t busy but we were in the off season I guess.

They host a week long, ranked “top 10 in the world”, flower festival annually - that is this week! Haha!

Ugh!
