I know how frustrating it can be to have made it to where the RD wants you to go, only to search for a CP for an hour in the bush. Extremely frustrating for sure!

That said, you guys seemed to race very well from the armchair I was watching the site from. I liked your 'drunk guy' story on YouTube!

Thanks Phatty. Yeah I finally watched it today myself. I guess that's what I look like after a beer and a half and 2 hours sleep.

Based on your highly engaging YouTube performance, I had the impression that you had a terrific time! Sorry to hear that wasn't true. It was very difficult to figure out how you were doing, even though the coverage did give us a reasonable sense of the flow of the race. It appeared that you were moving up the rankings on Saturday, so I phoned Pixie to chat and share positive thoughts! Great result in spite of the aspects of the race you didn't like, and it's obvious that your nav skills still played a big role. It's awesome to see MBR's name in the results right with Merrell/Zanfel!
