Awesome to get in a ski-o on a campus. Is this the first publicly-available ski-o course in Kansas?

A few years ago, we had lots of snow on the ground during a regular event, and a few people did it on skis. But this course, and Gene's, are the first designed for ski O, as far as I know.

We've had several ski-Os in the past. In my files, I found: Jan 13, 1985 was a ski-O at Clinton State Park, then on Jan 27, 1985 Steve Hitchcock set a course on West Campus.
There was a meet held at 6 degrees on West Campus with the start by the pond - Tom Wolf, Dee Boeck and Rick Hermesch were all photographed by the LJW. I can't find the photos right now.

Next time we get a decent snow, I think the model we've used for this weekend works:

1. a couple of people go out and set some ski tracks while wearing GPS watches.
2. we quickly update the map with green ski O' trails symbols and create a PDF of the terrain with the trails.
3. we share the PDF and encourage people to use PurplePen to set courses and post them to the OK Facebook page.
4. we've got free ski O' training with relatively little effort.
