Poor life decisions all around for this run. Blizzard? Check. Sketchy back country roads? Check. Budget head lamp? Check and check. If I had a dollar for every time I had to run in the ditch...(I’d have 4 bucks but you get the idea).

Stuck to the plan and happy to have gotten this one done.

Magical and snowy Switchback run with Cait. She is fit as fuck right now so I had to set the pace. It was next to impossible to keep my heart rate at zone 2 but I certainly tried.

With Bob and Hank. Bob carried Hank while I lead the way. All was good until Bob wanted to jump across a giant river and I had a breakdown. I believe I screamed for all of Blue Mountain to hear..."why can’t we just do normal family activities?!" We stuck to a hike along the BT after that... : /
