Adventure with Jen, Leif and Emily!
Biked down Annie Lake Rd, crossed Becker Creek, continued on to another river that we couldn’t cross so turned around. Then went up the ATV trail along Becker Creek that went up forever. Fun downhill return and then back to the cars as it started hailing.
Emma does not do river crossing well - got vertigo both times, second time I thought I was gonna pass out.
This was a great WT training though! Good stuff!

Virtual B Meet at Mt Mac.
Felt pretty sleepy going into this and definitely did not have a full focus during the session. Overshot the cliff at 3 and had to double back after being confused a while. Then I tried to make the routechoice to 6 harder than just taking trails like the rest of the course, but it was pretty miserable in the valley I chose. Leif passed me at 6 and I was with him for the most part until 8 where I read the control description wrong. Then I ran outta gas from the climbs, but was able to get a bit more flow at the end of the course.
Also quite windy out there and at one point I thought a tree had cracked and started to fall above me, but it was just swaying like mad!

Had a little flare up in my right shin where my tendonitis was. Feeling mostly like the hypersensitivity that I had rather than tendon inflammation. Didn’t hurt during the training.

Also, >100 controls today! Can I make it to 250 for the month??

Great route at Mt Mac, I think it might be a new fav! Trails challenging enough but not stupid crazy, lots of variety, and some fun rock features. Oh, and stellar views too!
Legs still don’t have that extra climbing gear yet...
