Jog around Dukes House after looking at violins. Felt spritely but a bit groggy heading uphill, a few twinges in left hamstring.

Jog with Sarah then lift to Botanical Gardens and home. Left hamstring quite twingy.

Half an hour of stretching and core strength. Feeling a bit groggy today. Left ankle getting better but hamstring still painful.

Swim at Freeman’s Quay to give my legs a rest. Ankles a bit sore kicking, but did half the session just pull and pleased to find that shoulder is ok afterwards.

Body very tired on this chasing loop race. Tweaked left ankle and face-planted many times. Not up to the physical challenge of faster running through terrain that required you to jump lots of trees/branches. Reduced to walking through the rougher parts, especially marshes, and left hamstring painful towards the end. Not planning ahead very well so missing the smoothest lines.

Stoated it round the Elite race middle at Witherslack. 2 mins off Hollie and 1 min off Cecilie. Very clean race and physically not too bad. Some left hamstring pain.

Jog with Sarah. Left leg still quite painful so very easy jog the whole way.

Walk along the river with Duncan. Left ankle less painful but left hamstring very sore.

Jog with Jenny. Pain in left ankle and hamstring but eased a bit during the run. Felt sluggish to start, but a bit better by the end.

Hilly jog, just two hills as feeling groggy and left ankle very painful. Did see the jay a few times.

O race in Burnt Wood. Terrible nav! Felt fatigued, left hamstring painful, left ankle felt like it kept dislocating.
