Swim at Freeman’s Quay to give my legs a rest. Ankles a bit sore kicking, but did half the session just pull and pleased to find that shoulder is ok afterwards.
Body very tired on this chasing loop race. Tweaked left ankle and face-planted many times. Not up to the physical challenge of faster running through terrain that required you to jump lots of trees/branches. Reduced to walking through the rougher parts, especially marshes, and left hamstring painful towards the end. Not planning ahead very well so missing the smoothest lines.
Stoated it round the Elite race middle at Witherslack. 2 mins off Hollie and 1 min off Cecilie. Very clean race and physically not too bad. Some left hamstring pain.
