running 1:33:32 [3] 10.45 mi (8:57 / mi)
shoes: New red &gray

The hills started to annoy me, and I had a cramp between my shoulder blades for the 2nd half of the run, but my legs felt fine.

Rick's sprint course-struggled reading everything out of the start, then frustration further distracted me. The rest of the course was clean, and I was able to pick up some speed over some of the open areas.

Eric's sprint course-On the 5th control, I hesitated when I got to where I thought the tape was and lost about a minute because I was doubting myself. Then I found it but couldn't find a trail that looked huge on the map, so I lost another minute.

orienteering (hanging tapes) 27:40 [3] *** 2.1 km (13:10 / km)

My dad was with me, I kept getting distracted since we were talking. I probably took 20 sec at each marker tying the tape, but we lost more time on some making sure we were at the right place.

running 1:04:30 [3] 7.37 mi (8:45 / mi)
shoes: New red &gray

We were running with Mikecz instead of Crowe, so we ended up going a little faster than normal at the end. We kept thinking we were going back, but he would add more on since it wasn't 64 minutes yet.
No running drills since it was picture day today.

running 44:34 [3] 6.0 mi (7:26 / mi)

Crowe told us we have to run on pace this time (ours is 7:30), since group 1 had been running 6 min pace when they were supposed to be running 6:40.

7:27
7:54 don't know what happened here; there weren't that many hills, and I'm never sure where the mile mark is. I wasn't feeling particularly tired, though.
6:50 not sure if I ran this much faster on the last mile or I got the 5 mile marker wrong. I know that I was running faster, though.

shoes: New red &gray

running 16:46 [3] 4.0 km (4:12 / km)
shoes: New red &gray

4 x 1000 I was in my own group today since Ali wanted to give her heel a rest and Julian moved up to the next group since he's recovered now. I actually liked it a lot better since I didn't have to worry about stepping on people's feet or getting pushed around on the track.
4:14, 200 jog
4:12, 200 jog
4:15, 200 jog
4:05.
My legs felt good the whole time, and it was a fun part of the workout. Then we got to go get our spikes since the boys' first meet is next week.

running 2:28 [5] 0.8 km (3:05 / km)
shoes: new spikes

4x 200, 200 jog in between. These were fun, too. My shoes were really light, and it makes me want the season to start. On the last one, Mikecz was running next to me, and he pretended he was racing me so I'd go faster.

running 58:00 [3] 6.63 mi (8:45 / mi)
shoes: New red &gray

Middle distance ran with us today, so we were slow until they headed back. Lozan's mom changed her mind and said he can run, and he ended up sticking with us for almost the whole run. So did Bruce and Dionte.
Today it was pretty cold again, so we all looked like little yellow ducks crossing the street in our track sweats.
